Maria grew up in Peveragno, an hour from Turin, in the foothills of the Alps where the fog sits in the valleys in October and the truffle season changes everything. This is the region she knows from the inside — the local producers, the small hotels that don’t appear on booking platforms, the vineyards in Barolo and Barbaresco that welcome private visits for the right introduction.
